Their mission is to provide safe, accessible and affordable online abortion care to women and people around the world.
Yuina contacted WoW's online abortion service, this is an edited version of what she wrote.
Yuina's story
I just cannot have a child at this point in my life, I am too young, I want to finish school and I have no money to raise a child.
I absolutely prefer medical abortion (abortion pill) as an abortion method, but in Japan, it is not permitted. I have been pregnant twice so far, and for both, I had a surgical abortion in Japan. A surgical abortion is very expensive here.
I do not want the pregnancy to be terminated by a person I do not know personally. I want to have a medical abortion because I want to decide when and where to take the medicine myself.
I want to consciously understand that the abortion is happening, by going through the pain and bleeding. I want to do the abortion on my own, with my own hands!
I do not want to have a surgical abortion. I believe, the more times I go through a surgical abortion, the higher the risk. I do not want to have my body become unable to give birth in the future.
Now my worry is, if the package is stopped at the airport, will I be arrested by the police?
